Seeds of Sustainability Sprouting Method/Living Oils DVD

I am excited to share with you this dvd. Don’t let the cost put you off. What you learn will save you money for years to come. I have been learning a lot about sprouts lately. Sprouts are a living food, not just a raw food but a living food. I have been working hard to add more sprouts to our diets. When you are sprouting for 9 people it gets very time consuming. Soaking, rinsing several times a day, counters filled with bowls and jars.. Just take a look at my post on sprouting from last week and you get the idea. So when I saw the heading- “Grow Sprouts With No Daily Rinsing” I had to find out more. I searched on the internet to see if anyone else was using this method with success but found nothing- the dvd is still new. Just came out late last year I think. So I decided to test the method before writing my review. I am happy to report I have had success using this method of sprouting. I am excited to get my Green Star Juicer so I can try making my own oils as described in the video. Take a peak at the trailer below.

These are lentils that I sprouted using the typical method of rinsing several times a day.

Yummy! So what will I do with all of these lentil sprouts!? Our new favorite snack is dehydrated lentil sprouts. Take sprouts and drizzle with olive oil. Mix it well. Spread on dehydrator trays and salt with sea salt (you could do garlic or onion powder as well). Dehydrate at 105 until crispy. Takes about 6-8 hours or so.. They are yummy as is or thrown into a salad.
